This week's top offensive performers in boys soccer

Here’s the weekly installment of top five Long Island boys soccer performers for the period of Sept. 9 -15.
This week, the list is dedicated to players who made an impact on offense and it includes the context of the games. For example, a game-winning goal in a game featuring two top-tier teams may weigh more than a three-goal game in a lopsided victory. Next week, we will put together a list of star defenders, including goalkeepers.
“I enjoy it because it gives me opportunities,” Sini said. “I’m used to be the leading scorer for whoever I play for, and right now I’m finding a lot of space between the defenders.”
Sini has scored a goal in each of his last three games, all wins for the Friars.
Said coach Chris Russo, “His versatility makes him one of the top scorers on the Island.”
