The pitcher's circle for Long Island high school softball games was moved back to 43 feet from home plate for this season, in compliance with the rule change by the National Federation of State High School Associations passed last year.

The move from 40 to 43 feet helps high schools conform to the same distance as colleges and travel teams. But what type of effect has that had on high school games on Long Island this season?
