Thursday night action: Big game for Steelers
PANTHERS (2-12) at STEELERS (10-4)

On paper, this looks like one of the worst Thursday night games this season. However, this game means a lot to the Steelers with the AFC North title on the line, as well as playoff seeding.
On the other side, a loss brings the Panthers a step closer to the No. 1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft and, most likely, a shot at Stanford QB Andrew Luck. The Panthers snapped a seven-game losing streak last week and RB Jonathan Stewart has averaged 115 yards a game over the last four. But the Panthers are young at QB and have given up the second-most sacks (43).
The Steelers are ranked third in overall defense, and first against the run, allowing 63.4 yards per game. I know double-digit favorites are 7-10 ATS this season, but I also know the Steelers, coming off a disappointing home loss against the Jets, want to show the Steel City they are ready for a deep playoff run.
