Time to revive 'Buy American'

For the new year, we can all resolve to take one simple step to eliminate unemployment and improve the economy. Read the label. If it doesn't say, "Made in USA," don't buy it.
Forget orange and apple juice from Brazil and China, or avocados from Mexico. Make sure that your toys, medicines, clothing, appliances, wallboards, cell phones and cars come from American factories. If your gifts were produced in China, Korea, Singapore or elsewhere, return them - and explain why. If there's no label, ask the merchant; he can find the country of origin.
The politicians in Washington can't possibly end our country's economic woes until every citizen resolves to buy American exclusively. Our economic system is self-correcting, if we correct ourselves and our buying patterns.
