Titans' Young hurt and loses cool, job in loss to 'Skins

Vince Young is hurt and in trouble with Titans coach Jeff Fisher for his latest meltdown.

Donovan McNabb threw for 376 yards, and Graham Gano kicked a 48-yard field goal with 8:17 left in overtime as the Redskins won, 19-16, Sunday in Nashville, Tenn.

After Gano's kick, Young tossed his shoulder pads and jersey up into the stands. He talked with Fisher, dressed quickly, walked past reporters, brushed off a college teammate who tried to talk to him and stormed out of the stadium. No one knows if Young was upset over the injury, the loss or not returning to the game.

Three hours after the game, Young wrote on Twitter that he was fine and apologized to his teammates. He then tweeted, "Just want to play."

Fisher said Young may need season-ending surgery for a torn flexor tendon in his right thumb. Even if he doesn't, he's lost his job. After three straight losses by 5-5 Tennessee, Fisher selected rookie Rusty Smith, who was ineffective after replacing Young late in the third quarter, to start Sunday against the Texans.

Packers 31, Vikings 3

Aaron Rodgers threw four TD passes, three to Greg Jennings, as the Packers (7-3) coasted at the Metrodome. Brett Favre and close friend Darrell Bevell, his offensive coordinator, snapped at each other after an interception against Minnesota (3-7).

Steelers 35, Raiders 3

James Harrison caused two turnovers that Ben Roethlisberger turned into touchdown passes as the host Steelers (7-3) routed Oakland (5-5).

Jaguars 24, Browns 20

Maurice Jones-Drew's 1-yard TD dive with 1:16 left helped the host Jaguars (6-4). The Browns fell to 3-7.
