Here’s the weekly installment of top Long Island boys soccer performers for the period of Oct. 8 -14:

Brandon Friedman, Roslyn
Had four goals and three assists combined in wins over Manhasset and Glen Cove. He currently leads Nassau in goals with 13. Friedman scored a goal and added three assists in Roslyn’s 4-0 win over Manhasset on Oct. 9. He had three goals in Roslyn’s 6-0 win over Glen Cove on Oct. 11.

Sean Gray, Bayport-Blue Point
Gray scored six minutes into overtime to lift BBP over Shoreham-Wading River on Oct. 9, 1-0. Then he scored the only goal in an upset over League VI powerhouse East Hampton.

Kaan Ilgin, Mattituck
Ilgin had two hat tricks last week. He also had three assists in a win over Port Jefferson on Oct. 9, setting up teammate Mario Arreola, who finished that game with four goals.

Michelangelo Sini, St. Anthony's
Scored the game's only goal in a non-league win over Hicksville on Oct. 12. Also had two goals and two assists in CHSAA victories.

Kevin Mayer, MacArthur
Had 14 saves combined in wins over Great Neck South and Mepham. Made eight saves in a 2-1 win over Great Neck South on Oct. 10. Made six saves in a 1-0 win over Mepham on Oct. 11. Mayer is second in Nassau County in shutouts with nine.

Paul Hayes, Mattituck
The junior center back has been instrumental in allowing only six goals against for the Tuckers in 12 games (four of those goals have come in regulation) and has helped goalkeeper Stephen Ostrowski accumulate seven shutouts.

Joe De Stefano, Farmingdale
The junior center back stabilized Farmingdale’s defense in their two ties against Valley Stream Central (0-0 on Oct. 10) and Baldwin (3-3 on Oct. 12). De Stefano, at 6-foot-4, was able to control the air in the back, specifically in the Valley Stream Central game. “His leadership and organization in the back has kept us unbeaten,” Dalers coach Kevin Shanley said. Farmingdale remains in first place in Conference AA-2 at 7-0-3.
