Three Long Island Rail Road trains on the Oyster Bay branch will be affected by Sunday’s TOBAY Triathlon & Tri-Relay.

Eastbound riders on the 8:52 a.m. train from Jamaica will transfer to a bus at Locust Valley to complete the trip, MTA officials said. The change will add about 14 minutes of travel time, officials said.

Westbound riders on the 8:20 a.m. and 10:20 a.m. trains from Oyster Bay will board vans — leaving 19 minutes earlier than normal train time — bound for Mineola, or any intermediate stops between Locust Valley and Mineola, MTA officials said. At Mineola, customers will transfer to trains for the remainder of the trip, officials said. The changes will add about 30 minutes of travel time, officials said.

The race, sponsored by Oyster Bay Town and the Greater Long Island Running Club, begins at 7:30 a.m. Sunday. Registration is closed, a club spokeswoman said.

The race is centered at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park and includes a half-mile swim in Oyster Bay Harbor, a 15-kilometer bike race through Oyster Bay, Laurel Hollow and Cove Neck, and a 5-kilometer run through Mill Neck, Brookville, Planting Fields Arboretum and Roosevelt Park, organizers said.
