Trump gets standing ovation for stance on cop killers, pivots to gubernatorial race
Trump is jumping from one point to another. He gets a standing ovation when he said that “anyone convicted of killing a police officer should face the death penalty.”
He then pivots to the New York's gubernatorial race between Blakeman and Hochul.
“Nowhere is the Communist attack on American society more clear than here in New York State. The radical left, Gov. Kathy Hochul... It's been very, very bad”
He told Blakeman that if he loses the race, "you're gonna be ashamed!” He also negged Blakeman several times during his speech, drawing laughs from Blakeman and the crowd throughout.
Trump also said that Hochul stands with “gang members, child predators, violent felons.”
“We stand with hard-working New Yorkers,” Trump said.
