Dueling demonstrators at the north side of Conklin Avenue at the Merritts Road intersection in Farmingdale are slowing traffic that’s already creeping. The demonstrators held Trump banners and banners referring to the president with an expletive.

Very heavy traffic turned what was earlier this week a 10-minute shuttle ride from the Farmingdale LIRR into a voyage taking over an hour.

“Get ready for the longest, shortest trip of your life,” the shuttle bus driver said to riders.
