VAN DYKE & COMPANY

Variety show Dick Van Dyke's loopy lunacy is soooo '70s -- Inflate-a-Mate, underwater golf, chess/boxing match (with young George Foreman!), lots of physical comedy and random strangeness. Guests include sitcom partner Mary Tyler Moore, Carol Burnett, Flip Wilson and Tina Turner. Even better, young Great Neck gadfly Andy Kaufman interrupts weekly for deadpan havoc. Too bad this 1976 hour only got 13 episodes to deconstruct its genre.

Extras Two Van Dyke radio interviews with show guest Lucille Ball, plus footage from 1968 special with brother Jerry Van Dyke.
