So now they want to extend unemployment benefits again ["A taxing test," News, Dec. 13]. Why not throw in a Florida vacation too? Maybe the government can do another study to find that if a person cannot find a job in two years, his or her skills are probably not worth as much as they think. Or maybe there is no incentive to work.

The money would be better spent creating jobs or teaching viable skills.
