Upcoming meetings in Suffolk County

Here’s a look at some of the meetings that will take place in Suffolk County this week:

* Brookhaven will hold its regular meeting 5 p.m. Tuesday at town hall, One Independence Hill, Farmingville.

* Babylon will hold its regular meeting 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at town hall, 200 East Sunrise Hwy., Lindenhurst.

* East Hampton will hold a work session 10 a.m. Saturday at town hall, 159 Pantigo Rd., East Hampton.

* Huntington Economic Development Corporation will hold a special meeting 7 p.m. Tuesday at town hall, 100 Main St., Huntington. The purpose of the special meeting is to review a new proposal to redevelop the former day labor hiring site in Huntington Station into a family sports recreational center.

* Shelter Island will hold a work session 1 p.m. Tuesday at town hall, 38 N. Ferry Rd., Shelter Island.

*Southampton will hold its regular meeting 6 p.m. Tuesday at town hall, 116 Hampton Rd., Southampton.
