Southold Town is putting out a call to residents interested in serving on the town’s Conservation Advisory Council.

The volunteer council researches requests for permits that involve environmental concerns. It generally meets once a month or as needed, said Town Clerk Elizabeth Neville.

The council has a vacancy due to a resignation.

The town clerk will advertise for two weeks for resumes. Anyone interested can send it via email to e.neville@town.southold.ny.us or drop it off at town hall, 53095 Route 25, Southold.
