Vazquez leads Connetquot to playoffs
Catalina Vasquez has been at the top of her game in the past 24 hours and it has meant the world to Connetquot.
Vasquez, a junior, had a career-high 30 points and 18 rebounds to lead Connetquot to a 53-45 victory over Bay Shore in League II. The win clinched the first playoff berth in 11 years for the Thunderbirds (7-3).
Vasquez had 16 points and 10 rebounds to lead Connetquot over West Islip, 54-45, on Friday.
