Athletes from Harborfields High School will be feted in a victory parade on Saturday celebrating the school’s first state championship.

The Harborfields Tornadoes, the school’s boys basketball team, won the state Class A title game at the Glens Falls Civic Center on Mar. 18, becoming the first team in the school’s history to win a state championship.

The Greenlawn Civic Association is sponsoring the parade, which begins at noon on East Maple Road by Broadway in Greenlawn. The procession will travel south to Gates Street, ending up with a short ceremony at Harborfields High School, 98 Taylor Ave., in Greenlawn.

The rain date is Sunday.
