Village elections across Long Island
Contested elections will be held Tuesday in 15 villages around Long Island, 13 of them in Hempstead and North Hempstead towns. In other villages with elections Tuesday, candidates are running without opposition on the ballot. The majority of the remaining villages will hold their elections in June.
