The Northport VA Medical Center is seeking volunteers to help later this month during the visit of the Dignity Memorial Vietnam Wall.

The wall, a three-quarter-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., will be stationed at the medical center Oct. 28-30, with an opening ceremony at 6 p.m. Oct. 28.

It will be the first time the replica, which was created in 1990 and tours the country every year, has been shown at a VA Medical Center.

The display will be open 24 hours a day and will be the site of ceremonies all three days.
To volunteer, call 631-261-4400, ext. 2991.
