Wake and funeral set for Mario Cuomo
The wake for former Gov. Mario Cuomo will be held today in Manhattan.
It will be at Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home on Madison Avenue and East 81st Street, according to the office of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, the late three-term governor's son.
Calling hours during the wake will be from 1 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m.
There will be a funeral tomorrow at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Park Avenue at 11 a.m. that will be open to family and friends.
Cuomo, who led the state from 1983 to 1994, died at home Thursday from heart failure at 82 while surrounded by family. The death occurred on the same day Andrew Cuomo was sworn into office for his second term as governor.
