Cinquemani hit a solo homer in the bottom of the fifth inning that cut West Islip's deficit to 4-3.

West Islip improves to 8-1.

Mineola 2, New Hyde Park 1: Lauren Fischer's solo homer in the top of the seventh gave Mineola (5-2) a 2-1 lead in a Nassau Conference ABC-II. Emily Skupp struck out seven and scattered five hits for the win. Christina Palmenteri's run-scoring triple in the sixth gave Mineola a 1-0 lead.

Oyster Bay 8, South Side 5: Caroline Kelly went 4-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs for Oyster Bay (4-3) in Conference ABC-II. Danielle Agostinello went 3-for-4 with one RBI and Dana Galgano struck out 11 in a complete game. North Shore 8, Roslyn 7: Sue Magnuson's RBI single in the top of the fifth scored Lindsay Urban and gave North Shore (2-6) an 8-5 lead in Conference ABC-III. East Islip 3, Half Hollow Hills West 0: Mike Demarest pitched a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts for East Islip (10-2) in League IV. Paul Dondero had a hit, a run scored and an RBI, and Brian Maxner was 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI. Smithtown Christian 4, Pierson- Bridgehampton 2: Jake DiNozzi struck out 10 and walked two in a four-hitter for Smithtown Christian (8-3) in League IX. Vinny Ciaravino went 2-for-3, with a run scored and Ronny Linsalato was 2-for-3 with an RBI in the win. Wantagh 3, Seaford 2: Adam Aponte drove in Gehrig Montoro with a two-out single in the top of the seventh to give Wantagh (10-0) the non-league win. Mike Stack scored Danny Lennon with a sacrifice fly earlier in the inning to tie the score at 2. Aponte allowed six hits, struck out 12 and walked one in a complete game.

Smithtown West 4, Northport 3:Mike Doxey and Steve Reddan beat Ray Bimkemp and Will Borrie in third doubles, 7-5,6-4, to win it for Smithtown West (4-2) in Suffolk League II.Baldwin 4, Valley Stream North 3: Reggie Carrion and Keyan Akil defeated Ritwik Bhatia and Richie Zhang, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2, in the deciding first doubles match for Baldwin (4-3) in Nassau Conference 4B.

Brentwood 4, Kings Park 3:Muhammed Ekren defeated Alan Ma, 2-6, 6-3, 6-4, in the deciding match in second singles to lead Brentwood (6-4) in a non-league match.
