The John Theissen Children's Foundation wants to continue to bring smiles to critically ill children via its 20th annual Holiday Toy Drive.

Interested donors can drop off a new toy at the Toy Drive Foundation Center, on 1881 Wantagh Ave., Wantagh, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays until Dec. 18. Toys can also be dropped off at the WBAB / 102.3 FM studio, 555 Sunrise Hwy., West Babylon, or at any of the 33 Friendly's restaurants in Long Island, founder John Theissen said.

Theissen started the foundation in 1992 after his own childhood bout with a brain tumor. In addition to the toy drive, the foundation's Wish and Gift giving program pays for birthday parties for critically ill or needy children hosted at the foundation's family fun center on Wantagh Avenue.

The foundation also provides new back-to-school outfits and school supplies for needy children and contributes to medical expenses for critically ill kids.

For more information or a complete list of toy drop-off locations, visit jtcf.org or call 516-679-5098.
