Wanted:Pharmacy larceny; credit card theft
Nassau police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for a man who stole more than $250 worth of dental whitening strips from a Baldwin store.
Police say that about 1 p.m. on Jan. 13, the suspect stole six boxes of Crest 3D White Whitestrips valued at $262.94 and left the CVS drugstore at 668 Sunrise Hwy. without paying.
Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at its toll-free and confidential hotline: 800-244-TIPS (8477). Crime Stoppers offers up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.

Suffolk police and their Crime Stoppers department are looking for a man who allegedly smashed a car window in Commack to steal a tote bag containing credit cards.
Police say that about 7 p.m. on Oct. 18, a woman returned to her car in the Lucille Roberts parking lot at 6534 Jericho Tpke., and found the passenger side window smashed and her tote bag, containing three credit cards, missing.
The suspect then allegedly used the stolen credit cards to make purchases at two Brentwood gas stations, according to police.
