Dusting of snow possible for LI Wednesday
Sunny skies Tuesday for all those revelers in Manhattan celebrating the Giants' big win.
But Wednesday?
Look for "a low chance of light snow or snow flurries late in the day" and into the evening, said David Wally, meteorologist with the National Weather Service, based at Brookhaven National Laboratory in Upton.
"Right now we're not expecting any accumulation," he said. A little rain could be mixed in, he said, but primarily a dusting of snow is what's forecast, as a "weak area of low pressure" coming out of the Ohio Valley makes its way into the area.
