Forecast: 'Nice' weekend with warm temps, chance of isolated showers

Long Islanders should expect warm temperatures and relatively clear skies throughout the weekend, according to the National Weather Service in Upton.
Temperatures should reach the upper 60s and low 70s throughout Nassau and Suffolk counties on Saturday with a small chance of an isolated shower, said Weather Service meteorologist David Stark.
Temperatures will cool Saturday evening into the mid 40s on eastern Long Island and the lower 50s in parts of Nassau County, Stark said.
Sunday's forecast calls for no rain and temperatures in the mid 70s.
Temperatures on the South Shore and on area beaches will hover in the 60s both days.
"It's going to be a nice overall weekend," Stark said.
