Other than the Yankees and the Mets watching the Major League Baseball postseason on TV like the rest of us, Monday should be feel like a classic mid-October day across Long Island.

After a cool overnight in the mid-50s, Monday will be mostly sunny with a high of 60 degrees and gusts of between 10 and 14 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds will increase after 2 p.m. with 20% chance of showers. Monday night will be clear with the temperature dipping to about 47.

Tuesday will bring nothing but sun with a high of 66, the weather service said, dropping to 54 at night. The sun hangs around Wednesday and Thursday when the high both days will hit the mid-70s, with overnight lows about 55, according to the weather service.

Friday will be mostly sunny with a high of 68 and a low at night of 48.
