Black Friday shoppers can expect mostly cloudy skies, highs in the low 50s, and the chance for a spotty shower, forecasters say.
The predicted high temperatures are a bit above the average of 50 degrees for this time of year, said Matt Hammer, News 12 Long Island meteorologist.
While there’s a chance for a spotty shower at any point, most of Friday will be dry, Hammer said.
Expect areas of patchy fog and possible showers Friday night, Hammer said.
Saturday looks to be similar to Friday, he said, “with some more breaks of sunshine,” highs of around 50 degrees, and turning “a bit breezy as we go throughout the day.”
Sunday turns chillier, with highs in the upper 40s, he said, and partly sunny skies.
