Warmer temperatures are on the way for the coming week, but it starts with a good chance for wet weather too, forecasters said.

An overnight low of 25 also brings a combination of freezing drizzle and freezing rain through Monday morning. The National Weather Service warned drivers to take care as the conditions could produce slippery roads for the Monday morning commute.

The daytime high goes to about 40, forecasters said, and the precipitation should turn to plain rain for Monday evening.

Then there is a 30% chance of rain Tuesday morning before the sun comes out and the temperature reaches a high of 43 degrees, then falls to a low of 25.

Then, the weather service said, look for a nice stretch of sunny, dry and warmer weather for the rest of the week.

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, conditions are clear and sunny with highs in the low 40s. Sunday is similar but somewhat cooler with a high in the mid-30s.
