Clear, sunny skies should last Friday right into Game 3 of the World Series at Citi Field.

The National Weather Service's Upton office calls for daily highs near 60 degrees with winds from the northwest at 14 to 16 mph.

For Friday night, conditions cool slightly and get a bit chilly during the game, which has the Mets playing host to the Kansas City Royals.

The cool, clear sunny daytime conditions should last through Saturday, News 12 Long Island meteorologist Rich Hoffman said.

Hoffman said temperatures at the ballpark should be in the low 50s at 8:07 p.m., when the opening pitch is scheduled. By 10 p.m., temperatures should dip below 50 degrees.

"It will feel a little cold," he said.

Saturday's temperatures are a bit cooler, with daily highs in the mid 50s.

Clouds move in Sunday, and there's a slight chance of showers late in the day and into the evening.

Daily high temperatures are expected to range from the high 50s to low 60s.
