Potential for 'perfect summer weekend' on Long Island, forecasters say

Who's ready for an ideal summer weekend on Long Island?
Saturday is expected to deliver mostly clear skies with highs in the mid-80s for most of the Island, said Kevin Kacan, a National Weather Service meteorologist in Upton.
Sunday warms up a bit to the high 80s, even approaching 90 in spots closer to the city, with continuing mostly clear skies. As of Friday's forecast, Long Island MacArthur Airport was looking at a high Sunday of around 86, he said.
Even humidity isn't expected to mar the picture of what could be seen as a "perfect summer weekend," Kacan said.
