Wednesday brings Long Island another warm, sunny day with highs in the mid 80s and muggy conditions, the National Weather Service said.

There's a 50% chance showers overnight with south winds of between 6 and 13 mph before sunny skies return Wednesday morning. Clear, warm days and comfortable nights are in the forecast until Sunday night, as the rest of the week brings highs in the 80s and lows, at night, in the 60s.

Wednesday's high should be about 86 with a low of 66.

Thursday brings more sunshine and a high of 84. Friday's clear conditions will see a high of 84. The only modest chance of rain through Labor Day is at 30% Sunday night, the weather service said.
