Long Island will have no rain, clear skies and temperatures in the 50s on Saturday and the early part of next week, according to the National Weather Service.

Forecasters, however, warn of an elevated risk of fire spread across the Island and the rest of the metro area in a special weather statement issued early Friday morning. Wind gusts up to 25 mph, combined with dry conditions, will increase the risk of fire spread, said the weather service, which noted that a statewide burn ban is in effect until May 14.

On Saturday, temperatures will reach a high of 57, before dropping to a low of 47 degrees, the weather service said. Sunday and Monday will be a bit of the same before showers arrive Tuesday for most of the day and into the evening.
