Long Island forecast: Cold but no more rain or snow

Long Island will see temperatures hover to at or below freezing under partly sunny skies Saturday, with the wind chill continuing through most of Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
For the Island on Saturday, temperatures will reach a high of about 34 degrees, the weather service said. The wind chill value is expected to be between 10 and 25 degrees with winds up to 9 mph. Saturday night the temperature could drop as low as 26 degrees.
On Sunday, temperatures could reach 44 and head down to 20 by the evening, the weather service said.
No rain or snow is expected on Saturday or Sunday after sleet on Friday impacted the Island. Bands of heavy snow struck well north of Long Island on Friday, the weather service said.
Earlier Friday, a glaze of ice-coated trees and power lines in some areas of Long Island into Friday afternoon. As of 7 p.m., PSEG Long Island's online outage map reported 73 active outages affecting 952 customers.
