String of sunny, warm days starts Tuesday, NWS says
After a stormy Monday, Tuesday will start a string of beautiful, sunny days, the National Weather Service said.
There should be sunny skies Tuesday through Friday and daytime temperatures slowly rising — from right around 80 degrees Tuesday into the mid-80s by Friday. Nights will be in the mid-60s.
But rain is in the forecast for the upcoming holiday weekend.
The weather service warns we could get rainstorms both Saturday and Sunday.
There is a 50% chance of rain Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, and showers are considered likely, the weather service said.
Sunday there is a 40% chance of rain before it turns sunny in the afternoon, forecasters said and mostly sunny Monday.
