If Monday’s weather has been to your liking – apart for the breezy conditions – you should be pretty pleased with Tuesday’s as well.

Monday’s been an “all around gorgeous day,” said Geoff Bansen, News 12 Long Island meteorologist. Beautiful, yes, “but a bit on the breezy side.”

Temperatures rose to the low 70s in many areas, with 73 the normal high for the day at Long Island MacArthur Airport.

The day featured less humidity – “by a lot,” he said. And that dry air should be in place for the coming days.

Look for a repeat for Tuesday, but minus the winds, he said — “an even nicer day than today.”

Wednesday, may be a tad warmer, but also brings chances of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon, with likelihood increasing for the overnight hours.

Friday, Saturday and Sunday should all be mostly sunny with highs in the mid-70s.
