Monday brings sunny skies with a high temperature near 79 degrees, the first of two days this week that will be clear and seasonably warm before a wet midweek, the National Weather Service said.

Tuesday will bring more sunshine and blue skies — with a high near 76, breezy and getting windier in the afternoon — before a chance of showers and thunderstorms overnight Tuesday into Wednesday and a low around 63.

That precipitation, including showers and possible thunderstorms, is expected to last most of the day Wednesday and into the night, with a high close to 70 and a low near 64.

Showers are also likely Thursday morning but partly sunny conditions are expected in the afternoon, with a high of 79 and a low near 62, forecasters said.

Friday daytime brings mostly sunny skies and a high near 80 degrees, but nighttime has a chance of rain after 2 a.m., according to the weather service.

The weekend is supposed to be wet both days, with rain dominating Saturday and Saturday night and lingering into Sunday morning before sunshine reappears, forecasters said.
