It will be sunny and cold Tuesday on Long Island, forecasters said.

The high temperature will be in the mid-30s, but winds of 6 to 10 mph will make it feel more like 10 to 20 degrees, the National Weather Service said.

It will be warmer for the second part of the workweek, News 12 meteorologist Rich Hoffman said.

Temperatures rise Wednesday to the mid- to upper 40s under partly sunny skies, the weather service said.

Rain is likely Wednesday night into Thursday morning, with rain ending in the afternoon.

The high temperature will be in the mid-50s Thursday, and the rain will return Thursday night into Friday, the weather service said.

Friday will be cloudy with a high in the low 50s, the weather service said.

Saturday will be mostly sunny with a high in the mid-30s and Sunday will be sunny with a high in the low 40s, the weather service said.
