The Columbus Day weekend will continue to feature generally cool, dry weather with high temperatures in the mid-60 degrees, and nights that call for a warm jacket, forecasters said.

Sunday will be mostly sunny but cool, with temperatures reaching about 63 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The nighttime will be mostly clear with a low temperature of about 47 degrees.

Monday, which is Columbus Day, is to begin with lots of sunshine and temperatures in the mid-60s, forecasters said. The skies will be clear in the evening with the thermometer dropping to about 50 degrees.

Tuesday will continue the pattern of sunny weather, but temperatures will warm up during the day to around 67 degrees, forecasters said. The night will be cool with temperatures barely rising above 50 degrees, the weather service said.

The warmer weather will continue into Wednesday, another sunny day with temperatures in the high 60s, the weather service said. At night, the temperatures will drop down to around 57 degrees.

Thursday comes with a 30% chance of showers after 2 p.m., with partly sunny skies and temperatures reaching a high of 70 degrees, forecasters said. Showers are likely for the evening with a low around 57 degrees, forecasters said.

Friday more rain is possible, with temperatures reaching 67 degrees, forecasters said. The chance of rain is 30%, according to the weather service.
