Thursday, which hit its daily high temperature, 59 degrees, shortly before 5 a.m., is looking at overnight lows in the upper 30s, forecasters say.

That leads into Friday, “a nice December day,” the National Weather Service said, mostly sunny with highs of around 50 degrees, “along with a chilly west wind.”

Stepping a bit further into December, daily highs dip to around the mid-40s for the weekend and early next week, the weather service said. Sunny or mostly sunny skies will prevail.
