Friday is expected to be cloudy, with a chance of showers during the day and again at night, the National Weather Service said.

The high temperature on Long Island is expected to be about 67 degrees, the weather service said.

A "few sprinkles" are also possible in the morning, the weather service said.

There is a slight chance of drizzle or light rain Friday night when the temperature could dip down to around 54 degrees.

The weather Saturday is expected to be in the mid-60s with a chance of showers.

Sunday is expected to be cloudy, with highs around 70 degrees. There is a 30% chance of rain that night, the weather service said.

Rain is more likely on Monday, when highs should be around 70 degrees.

"Mainly dry conditions return Tuesday but there will be a chance for additional rain showers with a secondary cold front moving across. ... Dry conditions then return thereafter through midweek," the weather service said.

Highs are expected to be in the upper 60s on Tuesday and Wednesday.
