A slightly warmer, sunny Friday is forecast to usher in an unsettled Saturday with chances of rain and even snow showers, the National Weather Service said.
"Temperatures moderate a bit on Friday as high pressure slides offshore. Daytime temperatures will rise into the lower 40s under a partly sunny sky. Overnight lows will remain in the upper 20s to lower 30s as clouds move into the area," the weather service said in their regional summary Thursday afternoon. "A developing system will pass south and east of the area Saturday bringing the next chance of precipitation."
There is between 20% and 30% chance of rain and snow showers starting with Friday night and continuing on and off through Saturday.
Sunday and Monday should be at least partly sunny, with Sunday's high reaching the mid 40s and Monday predicted to top 50 degrees or more.
Clouds return Tuesday, though the warm spell lasts at least until Wednesday, when there is a 40% chance of rain and the temperature will reach about 50 degrees.
