Skies will be mostly sunny Thursday over Long Island with a high temperature near 75 degrees, forecasters said.
The three days after that are a mixed bag: rain likely before noon Friday, a chance of rain or showers Saturday and a chance of showers Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Patchy fog is also expected from Friday through Sunday, Father’s Day.
News 12 Long Island meteorologist Rich Hoffman said he expected Father’s Day would be “more dry time than moist time.”
“Dad will be able to get out and play some golf and we will have dry periods for the barbecues,” Hoffman said.
The workweek resumes Monday with a 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, the weather service said.
