After an overnight low forecast to dip into the teens on Long Island, Friday will look a lot like Thursday, but.about 10 degrees cooler.

Overnight into Friday, the temperature could fall to 19 degrees, with wind chill values making it feel closer to 10, according to the National Weather Service.

Friday's forecast calls for more sun with a high of 36 degrees, the weather service said.

The temperatures falls back into 20s Friday night under partly cloudy skies.

The good news is the Island will see steadily rising daytime temperatures over the weekend, with a high above 60 on Sunday.

The bad news is Long Islanders could see more rain again Sunday.

There's a 20% chance of showers Saturday night with a low of 41 after a daytime high of 45 under mostly cloudy skies.

Sunday will be mostly cloudy with a high of 63 and a 50% chance of showers. The low Sunday night is forecast to be 47, the weather service said.
