Another sunny day is predicted for Tuesday, warming up to highs around the low 80s, a few degrees cooler for parts of the East End and Suffolk County’s South Shore.
Conditions are “still looking good, nice and comfortable,” says Rich Hoffman, News 12 Long Island meteorologist.
With temperatures several degrees above normal for this time of year, we can expect “a bit more humidity” to be introduced during the overnight hours, as southerly winds gradually increase, the National Weather Service says.
Lows of around 64 degrees can be expected for Tuesday night.
Most of the workweek is looking to be dry, Hoffman says, but look for a “small chance of some wet weather Wednesday night.”
