Long Island weather: Warm weather continues this week

The warmer-than-normal conditions that have dominated the region this week will continue, with the next four days expected to feature highs in the 50s, the National Weather Service said.
After a cloudy overnight with a chance of light showers, dry conditions should prevail by morning and Wednesday's high is forecast to be in the low 50s.
Wednesday and Thursday will be partly sunny with highs in the 50s, but showers will return Friday night, forecasters said.
Temperatures will stay above average until Sunday when highs should dip into the mid 40s, the weather service said.
Both Sunday and Monday will be partly sunny, the weather service said.
