After a clear, comfortable night, Wednesday should offer more sunshine and warm temperatures, the National Weather Service said.
But there is an outside chance — about 20% — of showers Wednesday night, probably after 11 p.m., forecasters said.
Then Thursday and Friday should be beautiful, with highs in the low 80s, light winds and lots of sunshine. The weather service was calling for a damp weekend but a sunny Independence Day Monday.
Wednesday's high should be about 79 degrees, dropping to about 65 at night.
Thursday and Friday will also have nighttime lows in the mid 60s.
Then the weekend looks a bit problematic, with showers and thunderstorms considered likely Saturday and Saturday night, and a 40% chance of more rain Sunday.
Monday’s Independence Day holiday — at least right now — is expected to be sunny with a high of about 81 and a partly cloudy night for the fireworks, the weather service said.
