Long Island weather: Overnight frost in Suffolk, then a warmer week

A frost advisory for southern Nassau has been canceled for Sunday night as highs this week are expected to reach the 60s on Long Island, forecasters said.
"Warmer temperatures are forecast for tonight and widespread frost is no longer expected," the National Weather Service said in a Sunday afternoon advisory.
Frost is still possible for parts of Suffolk, however, overnight and into Monday morning as temperatures dip into the 40s.
But the rest of the workweek, Monday through Thursday is expected to be sunny with afternoon highs in the low 60s, forecasters said. Lows at night will be in the 50s or high 40s.
The next chance for rain could come Friday with temperatures in the 60s, forecasters say. There is a 50% chance of showers that day.
Showers are likely Saturday, possibly continuing into Saturday night, the weather service said, and there is a 30% chance of rain Sunday.
