Long Islanders will see plenty of clouds with a chance of rain through Monday, the National Weather Service in Upton said.

The light rain would likely come Sunday morning, but temperatures are expected to reach the lower 60s, weather service meteorologist Faye Morrone said.

There won’t be much of a drop as low temperatures Sunday night should remain in the upper 50s, Morrone said.

Expect to see many clouds Sunday, “and the clouds will stick with us through Monday,” Morrone said.

Light rain may come Monday afternoon and evening as a cold front crosses the area, weather officials said. Monday will be warmer with highs around 70 degrees and lows in the mid-40s Monday night.
