Summer may be nearing its end, but Long Island's warm and seasonable temperatures will be sticking around a bit longer.

Saturday's temperature will reach a high of about 87 across the Island, dipping into the upper 60s overnight. Kacan said there is a slight chance of isolated storms between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. Saturday.
The state Department of Environmental Conservation has also issued an air quality health advisory from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday for Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Richmond, Westchester and Rockland counties.
The alert notes that the region will have an elevated level of ozone. State health officials advise people to limit strenuous outdoor activities, particularly the very young and those with pre-existing respiratory conditions such as asthma or heart disease.
Sunday's forecast calls for no rain and temperatures topping out at 89 and getting into the low-70s overnight.
Monday's back-to-work forecast calls for more heat and no precipitation with temperatures in the upper 80s, Kacan said.
