The South Shore of western Long Island and New York Harbor may experience minor coastal flooding around high tide Saturday morning, the National Weather Service said.

Tidal departures 1 to 1 1/2 feet "above predicted astronomical high tides" are expected, potentially causing minor coastal flooding "in typically vulnerable spots," the weather service said in a coastal flood statement.
