2,000 PSEG customers remain without power Monday afternoon

Thousands of Long Islanders continued to be without power late Monday afternoon in the aftermath of the weekend’s nor’easter.
Just after 5 p.m. on Monday, PSEG Long Island reported 283 outages affecting about 2,000 customers, compared to 774 reported outages as of Sunday night.
Outages remain scattered across Long Island, with the hardest hit areas in Suffolk County and around Great Neck and Locust Valley in Nassau, PSEG said.
The storm caused more than 128,000 outages since Friday morning, PSEG said on Monday.
