Long Islanders bruised from a brutal winter are enjoying spring-like weather this weekend, with sunny skies and warm temperatures Saturday and Sunday.

The National Weather Service said highs today are forecast to hit 49, with lows tonight in the upper 20s.

Sunday is expected to see even more of the same, with more sun and highs in the lower 50s.

The warm weather should continue through next week, with an expected high of 50 Monday and temperatures in the high 40s with mostly sunny skies the rest of the week.
